Description
Rockaway Beach is a summery surfing community, but while you’re there you should go inland for killer pastries made by Tracy Obolsky (ex-Cookshop, North End Grill). Her Rockaway Beach Bakery started as a pop-up; word of mouth was so strong that she opened a brick-and-mortar shop in 2017, offering a few sunny tables and a backyard patio furnished with hammocks. Must-haves include “everything” ham-and-cheese croissants, sticky buns, salted chocolate chip cookies and jalapeño-cheddar scones.
