Description
This little Brooklyn-born joint offers up thin-crust margherita pies with an ideal sauce/cheese/basil ratio. Owner Jim McGown started the operation in the annex of a bar in Carroll Gardens, and his East Village location is equally low-key, with a simple menu that uses few—but high-quality—ingredients. You can dress up slices yourself with house-made garlic oil and fiery chile oil. Its late hours accommodate barflies in need of sustenance before bedtime.
