Tampopo Ramen

Description

Following years of bemoaning the lack of ramen, donburi and onigiri rice bowls in their beloved Washington Heights community, husband and wife Josh Frank and Nanae Mameuda-Frank took matters into their own hands and opened the neighborhood’s very first ramen shop in 2015. Popular dishes like shio classic ramen and bao buns are best-sellers, but there’s lots more to explore and enjoy, from jackfruit fried karaage to okonomiyaki (savory vegetable pancakes). Round out your meal with a pineapple-chili hard kombucha for a tasty take on the flavored seltzer trend.
