Taqueria Tehuitzingo

Out of Business

Description

The cozy space inside Taqueria Tehuitzingo tries very hard to transport you right to Mexico, with its orange-painted wall, colorful fabric tablecloths and Mexican tchotchkes hanging from the walls. The enormous menu is also more authentic to the region and less Americanized than those of other restaurants in the area. Items include a large variety of tacos (including those with beef tongue), tostadas, chimichangas and tamales—in addition to the usual burritos, nachos and quesadillas you’ll find elsewhere in Hell’s Kitchen.
