The Local Store

Out of Business

Description

This small, farm-to-table café and wine bar has a quiet, welcoming vibe, an ideal neighborhood spot for lunch, brunch or a light dinner. Locals stop in for creative, seasonal soups, salads and sandwiches, or perhaps a whimsical canapé called pork on pork on pork—a toasted baguette topped with liverwurst, house-deviled ham, a cornichon pickle and soppressata salami. At brunch there's homemade granola, oatmeal and buttermilk waffles. The menu changes weekly, but healthy baked goods and jars of biscotti are a mainstay, nice to have along with a coffee pick-me-up.
