Partners Tasha Garcia Gibson and Julie Taras Wallach (Little Giant) have a penchant for endearingly named restaurants, this one a tribute to an alcohol-drenched Southern dessert. Also look for potent mint juleps. The front bar room, with its cushioned window seats and church pew banquette, is a casual hangout for drinks and snacks (hush puppies, deviled eggs), and the back dining room is a hospitable setting for a fuller experience (stuffed trout with green goddess dressing, braised pork shank with grits).
