Yura on Madison

Carnegie Hill is one of Manhattan's most elite neighborhoods, lined with turn-of-the-last-century mansions, prestigious museums and the City's most exclusive private schools. Tycoons, housewives, schoolchildren, nannies and the general proletariat are regulars at Yura—a welcoming, well-lit deli with prepared savory dishes, sandwiches, salads, boxed lunches, pies and pastries at not-outrageous prices. There are a few small tables, but it's mostly used for takeaway. Proprietor Yura Mohr is also behind Square Meal, a small, quiet neighborhood café nearby.
