Denim veteran Scott Morrison—co-founder of Paper Denim & Cloth and Earnest Sewn—was born to parents who worked in the garment business, so fabric is in his DNA. Morrison opened this, the first and only denim boutique and factory in Soho, where custom and ready-to-wear designs are made right on site. Walking into the space, it’s clear you’re not in your average retail store. One wall is lined completely with rolls of denim, like you’d see in a fabric store. In the back, workers construct your selected fabric to fit your body’s dimensions exactly the way a good pair of jeans should.
