Cacao Prieto

Out of Business

Description

All of Cacao Prieto's chocolate bars, bonbons and chocolate liqueurs are made from organic, single-origin cocoa beans, sourced from a family farm in the Dominican Republic. In fact, that farm has been run by Cacao Prieto owner Daniel Prieto Preston's family for more than 100 years. Those curious about the journey from cocoa pod to chocolate bar can book a spot on the site's factory tour (which costs $15, but includes plenty of samples, of course).
