Clinton Hill Pickles

Out of Business

Description

This distant offspring of Guss’s Pickles, an old-school Lower East Side pickler dating back to 1920, relocated to Brooklyn in 2009, eventually settling in Clinton Hill, right across the street from Pratt Institute. Today, the selection goes far beyond cucumbers to include treats to meet any brine lover’s fancy—pickled beets, tomatoes, cauliflower, pineapple(!), kimchi, sauerkraut, coleslaw, as well as condiments like horseradish, mustard and relishes (the inventory changes according to the season and availability of ingredients).
