Dawn Harris-Martine, aka Grandma, has built a one-of-a-kind toy shop and activity space beloved by people of all ages in Harlem. With two degrees in curriculum and teaching and a minor in children’s literature, Grandma has put her 30-plus years of experience to great use—the place not only sells educational products, it hosts wonderful events, such as a recent family game day to benefit the Fund for Public Schools.
