Description

This Brooklyn-based comic book store aims to get kids away from TV and computer screens and back to reading printed materials. Founded by Joseph Einhorn (fancy.com), the shop is part library, part retail store—with more 3,000 comic books from Marvel and DC to buy or borrow. Customers can check out one comic book at a time (for as many times as they’d like) for a monthly fee of $30 or purchase titles for $5 each. The shop also helps kids publish and sell their own comic books, and offers art classes and workshops on the second floor. To enter, adults must either bring a kid or make an appointment via Instagram DM.
