SoHarlem’s aims to preserve and promote the culture of Harlem through women and creatives of color. Their Designers’ Studio offers free training to locals in garment construction, design and studio management, as well as a fee-based course in sewing that is open to the public. Their shop sells clothing, home decor and accessories made by artisans in residence and program apprentices.
