Spring 2026 Arts Guide

Another season for the arts means another set of boldface names, exciting new performances and recurring favorites across the five boroughs. Find shows celebrating 20th-century cultural heroes such as Frida Kahlo, Diego Rivera, Keith Haring and Jack Kerouac, and dig into the theme of peace and love through flower power at NYBG. Wide-ranging displays can be viewed at a global artists' exhibit at Powerhouse Arts and the return of the always fascinating Whitney Biennial. Meanwhile, spring dance seasons and festivals take place all over the City.
