Description

A New York institution since 1986, Le Bernardin remains one of the City's premier dining destinations. Originally founded in Paris by siblings Maguy and Gilbert Le Coze, the restaurant focuses on seafood prepared with simplicity and respect for the ocean’s finest ingredients. Today, it is led by Maguy Le Coze and chef Eric Ripert, who continues to uphold the founding philosophy that the fish is the star of the plate. Le Bernardin has earned a four-star rating from The New York Times across multiple decades, holds three Michelin stars, and is consistently ranked among the world's top restaurants by La Liste. Wine director Aldo Sohm oversees one of New York’s most respected cellars. The Le Bernardin experience also includes Le Bernardin Privé, an extended private event space, and Aldo Sohm Wine Bar, a relaxed setting offering shareable plates and an ever-evolving wine list.
