Through February 28, 2017, Gay Gotham: Art and Underground Culture in New York at the Museum of the City of New York features paintings, photos and other pieces by artists whose work reflects the experience of LGBT New Yorkers throughout the 20th century—along with letters and artifacts that offer peeks into their lives.
