Ol’ Dirty Bastard Mural

Description

Artist Vic Goldfield created an homage to legendary rapper Russell Jones, aka founding Wu-Tang Clan member Ol’ Dirty Bastard, that people travel from all over the world to see. The mural—a recreation of ODB’s solo album cover for Return to the 36 Chambers: The Dirty Version, which features an image of his welfare card—is splashed across the exterior corner wall of an unassuming bodega that’s situated mere blocks from the Fort Greene neighborhood where he grew up.
