Atoboy

Description

Neo-Korean cuisine took off here when Tribeca’s Jungsik earned two Michelin stars a few years back. That restaurant’s chef de cuisine, Junghyun Park, has moved on to open Atoboy with his wife, Ellia Park, featuring a $36 three-course tasting menu of small, banchan-style dishes. The restaurant, a spare, concrete space, shows its flair on the plate, with delicacies like littleneck clams with avocado and rice crackers and chicken with spicy peanut butter and garlic. (Note: Atoboy is not to be confused with Attaboy, a Lower East Side speakeasy, but it does have refreshing, Asian-accented drinks.)
