Dhaba

Description

Dhaba boasts some of the most delicious Indian food in the City and is modern and fashionable, to boot. Colorful rolls of silk fabric and big spice jars line the walls. The aisles and tables are as crowded as a Delhi bazaar. Owner Shiva Natarajan has a respected portfolio of restaurants (including Thelewala and Malai Marke), and this is the one he calls the most authentic to Northern India's traditions. The sensational, bargain-priced lunch buffet is offered seven days a week. Should you prefer to order from the menu, however, you'll find wonders like creamy chicken tikka masala, chili-onion naan and slow-cooked black lentil dal with garlic, ginger and coriander. And Kingfisher is on tap, another nice touch.
