Stadium food has come a long way since the old days, when all you could get was boiled hot dogs or peanuts and Cracker Jack (not that there’s anything wrong with those standbys). Ballpark dining now rivals the game itself for fans’ attention. This season,

The Classic, Destination Dumplings
Without dumplings, it just wouldn’t feel like you were in Queens. This Woodside-based vendor fills them with a pork, chive and scallion combo, topped with soy sauce for a salty finish. There’s also a vegetarian option with edamame stuffing.

Pepperoni Pizza Cupcake, The Pizza Cupcake
This pizza is baked in a cupcake tin, which makes it a perfect bite-size, between-inning snack. It’s stuffed with cheese, pepperoni and sauce, which is made with Mutti tomatoes flown in from Italy and provides sweetness. Italian herbs top it off.

Stuf’d Reuben, Stuf’d
Try a take on a classic Reuben sandwich that looks exactly as its name would imply. A massive serving of corned beef is topped with German stone-ground mustard, purple slaw, swiss cheese and Thousand Island dressing. It’s pressed between two pieces of panko-coated bread, adding to its gravitational pull.

Classic Churros, Dulcinea
When the seventh-inning stretch comes around, try this crunchy, crispy, fried-dough pastry. Dulcinea’s version is dusted with sugar and served with your choice of Nutella, dulce de leche or Boston cream dipping sauce.

Mozzarella Sticks, Big Mozz
We’d venture to guess you’ve had mozzarella sticks before, but you haven’t had them like this. The Big Mozz specialty is fried to golden, crispy perfection and coated with a garlic, parsley and parmesan crust. The mozz inside is melty and stretchy, and passes the ultimate test: sticking to its breading.

Chicken Wings, Buffalo Wild Wings
Another first-year starter on Yankee Stadium’s food roster—though a battle-tested veteran to sports-bar aficionados—Buffalo Wild Wings serves several varieties of delectable chicken wings. Choose from sauces like not-painfully-spicy buffalo, sweet and tangy Asian Zing or the standout salt-and-vinegar option that tastes part flavorful potato chip and part crispy-skinned wing.

Changeup Burger (Impossible 2.0), Bareburger
Even the most die-hard carnivores might be forced to admit that Bareburger veggie burger is a grand slam dupe for a genuine beef patty. The “beef” here is juicy and flavorful with a texture that puts other non-Impossible veggie burgers to shame. It’s served with greens, pickles and a sprout bun.

MQRib, Mighty Quinn’s
Yes, the name of this Mighty Quinn’s sandwich is a play on a cult favorite from a certain fast-food chain. But after a bite of this one, you may forget all about its predecessor. MQ’s sweet black-cherry barbecue sauce coats the super-tender, slow-smoked baby back rib meat, while pickles and onions balance out each bite with a bit of acid and crunch.

Tres Leches Shake, Yankee Stadium Grand Slam Milkshakes
Round out your stadium snacking with a sweet finish. The vanilla ice cream in this shake is delicious on its own and comes topped with treats—like a crunchy churro and a mini tres leches cake. Whipped cream with a drizzle of caramel sauce and a sprinkling of crisped rice should seal the deal for any sweet tooth.
