Ailey at Lincoln Center

Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater returns to Lincoln Center this summer with five programs. Bold Visions, performed on two occasions, includes works by choreographers Darrell Grand Moultrie, Jawole Willa Jo Zollar and Ronald K. Brown. The Ailey Spirit Gala showcases rising stars from the company’s younger dance troupes; Trailblazers features a performance of Lazarus; Timeless Ailey looks back at 13 ballets; and An Evening Honoring Carmen de Lavallade celebrates the woman responsible for introducing Alvin Ailey to the world of dance many years ago. Mr. Ailey’s signature work Revelations closes each matinee and evening in the series.
