Lincoln Center's American Songbook

Since 1998, Lincoln Center's annual American Songbook series celebrates the diversity of America's songwriters and performers at one of its more intimate venues, the Appel Room at Columbus Circle. This year's program kicks off with Rufus Wainwright at Alice Tully Hall on January 22, followed by a lineup of featured artists at the Appel Room including Ali Stroker, Natalie Merchant, André De Shields, Our Lady J and the Cowboy Junkies. The full schedule of shows is listed on the American Songbook's event calendar.
