New York Theatre Workshop, a well-known incubator of new work (Hadestown), presents this multimedia piece by Tow Playwright-in-Residence Victor I. Cazares and director Rubén Polendo. In what sounds like a commentary on capitalism, modern society and the immigrant experience, the production tells the story of an undocumented Mexican family in a multiverse in which "time is fluid and the characters are refracted through literal televisions, imagined video games, endless Walmart aisles and a double-wide torn in two." Expect a mix of live performance, camera feeds and prerecorded video.
