Reconstructions: Architecture and Blackness in America, the fourth in MoMA’s Issues in Contemporary Architecture series, examines the intersections between architecture, Blackness and anti-Black racism. The exhibit explores the role of systemic racism in the built environment and social infrastructure of American cities; it also looks into how Black cultural spaces function as centers of resistance.
