Description

The NYC Parks Department and UNIQLO are teaming up to bring new public art projects to all five boroughs. The UNIQLO Park Expressions Grant selected ten NYC-based, emerging artists to create site-specific installations in parks throughout the City, to be unveiled this summer. Among this year’s winners are Patricia Cazorla and Nancy Saleme, whose installation Flying High for Equality features large, colorful sparrow sculptures in Queens’ Joyce Kilmer Park.
