Bed-Stuy Alive!

This is the 13th annual celebration of Brooklyn’s diverse and culturally rich Bed-Stuy community. The day kicks off with a 10am ceremony recognizing the neighorhood’s greatest contributors. The afternoon will feature a children’s village with arts, crafts, games and activities for the younger set; health and municipal services organization representatives helping attendees with issues from voter registration to Pre-K enrollment; a food court with culinary offerings from local chefs; and a marketplace for shopping. All day long the Restoration Rocks music festival will be taking place alongside, featuring Soul Science Lab, Les Nubians and hip-hop star Talib Kweli with DJ Spinna.
