Giorgione’s Three Philosophers, which is rarely loaned, joins Bellini’s panel St. Francis in the Desert for this installation that closes the Frick’s tenure at the Breuer Building. The two works were originally owned by Taddeo Contarini, a Venetian collector who displayed them in his palazzo.
