There's almost nothing more valuable in New York City than a rent-stabilized apartment—and ex-cop and recent widower Walter "Pops" Washington knows this. He is desperately trying to hang on to his Riverside Drive apartment that he shares with his recently paroled son, Junior, but he'll also have to deal with old wounds, a sketchy houseguest and an ultimatum in the process. This dark comedic play stars Stephen McKinley Henderson (an Obie winner in the role of Pops when the show ran on Off-Broadway) and rapper Common, in his Broadway debut. The final two weeks of performances (January 31–February 12) will be simulcast (tickets must be purchased).
