Bill Cunningham at New-York Historical Society
This event has already occurred
Description
Objects belonging to New York City’s king of sartorial photography, the late Bill Cunningham, find a new home at the New-York Historical Society. Visitors will be able to view an installation of the New York Times photographer’s iconic bicycle, blue jacket and the Nikon camera he used to capture his man-on-the-street images. Louise Doktor, Cunningham’s muse, and John Kurdewan, his colleague and friend, placed these items in the Society’s care, along with Cunningham’s 200-book library and his feather collection.
