Description

This annual festival celebrates the black contribution to smaller, self-published comic books—or Black Comix—with premier comic creators from around the country connecting with readers, other creators, bloggers, publishers, collectors and fans of all ages. The event drew close to 12,000 attendees in 2017 and features movie screenings, panel discussions, exhibits and a cosplay show and competition. Festival admission is free.
