Description
Queens gets its very own con. The inaugural year of this comics-based convention at St. John’s University offers the usual artists and vendors of sci-fi, fantasy, superheroes and anime as well as a host of celebrity-packed panels and meet-and-greets: Sean Astin (Lord of the Rings), Grizz Chapman (30 Rock), Khary Payton (The Walking Dead), Chester Rushing (Stranger Things) and comics writer Marv Wolfman (Blade, The New Teen Titans) are just a few of the major names, along with cosplayers Danquish, Mikomi Chan and Riki “Riddle” LeCotey.
