Breuer Revisited: New Photographs by Luisa Lambri and Bas Princen
This event has already occurred
Description
This Met Breuer exhibition features images of five Marcel Breuer–designed buildings that highlight the details and significance of his modernist architecture. The Met commissioned Luisa Lambri and Bas Princen to photograph and document the “post-occupancy,” or evolution and relevance of a building, as it pertains to Breuer’s structures. Featured works include the Headquarters of UNESCO in Paris and, of course, Manhattan’s Met Breuer. The show will also focus on the progression of modern architecture and how Breuer himself has contributed to it.
