Bride of God

This show, which inaugurates Hauser & Wirth's new space and also makes use of the former Dia building which they've called home for the last several years, draws its title from Daniel Paul Schreber’s 1903 book Memoirs of My Nervous Illness. The group show features works from artists central to the gallery's program, including Louise Bourgeois, Jenny Holzer, Mike Kelley and Lorna Simpson. Those works are complemented by ones from outside artists such as Francis Bacon, Robert Mapplethorpe, Alice Neel, Andy Warhol and Weegee.
