Description
Bryant Park’s Picnic Performances bring some of the City’s greatest music, theater and dance shows to the outdoor stage. Thanks to the park’s partnerships with multiple cultural organizations, audiences can enjoy contemporary music and dance on 24 evenings throughout the summer while relaxing on the lawn—for free. Highlights include the New York City Opera’s staging of Carmen, the New York Guitar Festival and the New York City Circus Festival. Staff lend out hundreds of picnic blankets and chairs (you’re also welcome to bring your own), and you can bring a picnic dinner or buy food from local vendors.
