Building the Wall

Description

Tyrants don’t act alone—they rely on the complicity of citizens to advance their agendas. That’s the truth at the heart of this 90-minute play from Tony– and Pulitzer Prize–winner Robert Schenkkan (All The Way). Set in the era of Trump’s America, a liberal professor interviews a jailed man who is awaiting trial for the horrific role he played in a human tragedy. Building the Wall looks at the cost of ugly political and racial dog whistles, demagoguery and allegiance to authoritarians.
