Description
This multimedia exhibit presents a timeline of the evolution of chamber music. The exhibit is divided into six sections: A Chamber Music Society Is Born; A Society Is All about People; The Vast and Wonderful World of Chamber Music; Concerts Everywhere; Deepening Engagement: Now and in the Future; and Sharing an Art Form in the Modern Age. A nine-screen video installation will show a performance of Mendelssohn’s Octet.
