Coal + Ice: Inspiring Climate Action through Art and Ideas

Description

Coal + Ice is a documentary photography exhibition focusing on the climate crisis’ causes and consequences. The show was first developed for a Beijing audience in 2011 and has been shown in China, Paris, San Francisco and Washington, DC. The New York City premiere features the work of more than 50 photographers from China and beyond who explore coal mines, the Himalayas’ melting glaciers and other varied terrain. A series of public programs includes speaker events, performances and films.
