Description

This one-of-a-kind show presents the World Trade Center through a series of covers from The New Yorker, one of the most influential weekly magazines in the US. The 33 illustrations in the exhibit range from a playful sketch of the Lower Manhattan skyline on the flap of an envelope from May 14, 1979, to a September 11, 2006, double cover that commemorates daredevil Philippe Petit’s famous 1974 tightrope walk between the Twin Towers.
