Crocs: Ancient Predators in a Modern World
This event has already occurred
Description
The group known as crocodilians encompasses crocodiles, alligators, caimans, and gharials-no wonder people often confuse alligators and crocodiles. This exhibit explores the evolutionary history of this species, which has flourished for more than 200 million years. Among the exhibit's highlights are an African dwarf crocodile, Siamese crocodile, and American alligator hatchlings. For more information, visit amnh.org.
