Description
The annual Dance on Camera Festival celebrates the intersection of dance and film with documentaries, shorts, features, experimental works, art installations, student programs, music videos, panel discussions and Q&As with the artists. Co-presented by Dance Films Association and the Film Society of Lincoln Center, the festival will once again host screenings and other events at the Walter Reade Theater as well as at the Film Society’s Elinor Bunin Munroe Film Center. Highlights of this year's festival include a special screening of works curated by Spike Jonze, the world premiere of Mark Wilkinson's American Tap and a recently unearthed 1964 film about mime Marcel Marceau.
