Dinosaurs Among Us
This event has already occurred
Description
This spring, the American Museum of Natural History will be acquiring a new resident—a 122-foot-long cast of a dinosaur that will be part of a new permanent exhibition in the Miriam and Ira D. Wallach Orientation Center. The introduction of this new exhibition will kick off a year of dinosaur-themed events and exhibitions, including Dinosaurs Among Us, which examines the way in which a group of dinosaurs became the birds we are familiar with today. The exhibition will delve into the anatomy and physiology of our current-day birds and how they link back to their ancestors. Included in the exhibition are rare fossils and extremely life-like models of extinct creatures. For more information, visit amnh.org.
