Description
Learn Dunham—a modern dance style that fuses African and Caribbean dances with ballet over drum rhythms—during a special workshop at the Whitney Museum of American Art. Former Alvin Ailey company member April Berry leads this workshop, part of a series of beginner-friendly interactive sessions exploring various dance styles such as hip-hop, vogue, Latin Fusion and Broadway Jazz. It is part the Edges of Ailey programming series, which reflects the life, work and legacy of visionary artist Alvin Ailey.
