Eleanor Lambert: Empress of Seventh Avenue
This event has already occurred
Description
Eleanor Lambert is considered by many to be the first fashion publicist. During a 75-year career, she helped showcase New York City and the United States as centers of fashion with events such as New York Press Week and the establishment of the International Best-Dressed List and the Council of Fashion Designers of America. Among the exhibit's themes are "Fashion Meets Politics," which explores Lambert's work with Jacqueline Kennedy, and "Black Fashion Support," which features work by Stephen Burrows.
