Faith Ringgold: American People

This event has already occurred

Description

Faith Ringgold was born in NYC’s Harlem neighborhood more than 90 years ago—and still lives near the City, in Englewood, New Jersey. In 2022, the New Museum will hold the first full retrospective of her work in the City’s history. The exhibit goes beyond her role as an artist to illuminate her work as an author, educator and organizer who serves as a link from the icons of the Harlem Renaissance to the young Black artists of today.
