This event has already occurred
Description
Jeanne Moutoussamy-Ashe’s groundbreaking book Viewfinders: Black Women Photographers serves as a guide for this exhibit, which was assembled by the 2019 Teen Curators. A new generation uses the guide, first published in 1985, to look at the feminine gaze through portraiture, photographry and archival materials.
