Description
Roosevelt Island’s FDR memorial is honoring the women’s suffrage movement and the 100th anniversary of the 19th Amendment with a public art installation. The staircase at Franklin D. Roosevelt Four Freedoms State Park has been made over into a field of (printed) sunflowers that surrounds the words of the amendment, which gave women the right to vote.
