Description

This exhibition at the New-York Historical Society, courtesy of the Leonard L. Milberg Collection, showcases American art from the early 18th century to the present. Combined, these works tell the story of indigenous leaders, the European quest for power in North America, the American Revolution and the expansion of our country across the continent. Later years highlight natural landmarks and serve as critiques of politics while also celebrating our national pastimes. Visitors can expect more than 100 prints, watercolors and drawings from this private collection.
