Description
The 42nd annual Pride Run honors the first of its kind, held in Central Park in 1982; the four-mile race lives on in celebration of LGBTQ+ pride. This collaboration between Front Runners New York—the City’s premier LGBT running and multisport club—New York Road Runners and the City of New York broke the Guinness World Record for largest Pride charity run in 2019. A portion of the proceeds from race participants goes to an LGBTQ+ nonprofit—this year’s recipient is the Hetrick-Martin Institute, which provides services to LGBTQ+ youth.
