Grief and Grievance: Art and Mourning in America
This event has already occurred
Description
Grief and Grievance, an intergenerational exhibition conceived by the late Okwui Enwezo, features works from past decade the that address mourning and loss as those concepts relate to the violence experienced by Black communities in America and the corresponding elements of white grievance. These are contextualized by older pieces, including one by Jean-Michel Basquiat, and several new commissions.
