Guadalupe Maravilla: Tierra Blanca Joven

Guadalupe Maravilla’s work has recently been shown at MoMA and Socrates Sculpture Park. In this exhibit, part of a focus by the Brooklyn Museum and a handful of major international institutions on the intersection between art and mental health, Maravilla builds on his story of migration, displacement, illness and recovery. Tierra Blanca Joven includes more than a dozen works by Maravilla along with objects from the museum’s Mayan art collection
